Role Summary
Spoilz is looking for a UI/UX Designer to help shape the look, feel, and flow of our next wave of our Unity based mobile-first games.
In this UI/ UX hybrid role, you’ll blend interaction design with visually polished UI, designing joyful, intuitive experiences that are easy to use – and hard to forget. You’ll be responsible for player flows, wireframes, Figma prototyping, UX testing, as well as the final UI assets and motion – ensuring everything feels playful, expressive, and aligned with our creative vision.
We’re especially keen to meet designers who have experience with mobile UX, young audiences, or social-first gameplay – and who love turning complexity into clarity.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Game Design to design and document player flows, wireframes, and user journeys across key game systems
- Translate UX thinking into polished, stylised UI visuals that align with our brand and audience
- Build prototypes in Figma and/or Unity to test interaction, readability, and responsiveness
- Define and maintain visual consistency through reusable UI components and design systems
- Collaborate with art, game design, and engineering to ensure UI is fully integrated and functional in-game
- Conduct or support usability testing and iterate based on feedback and player data
- Contribute to UX strategy, UI polish, iconography, motion, and interaction feedback
- Help shape the voice and tone of our interface – from menus to microinteractions
Requirements
- 3+ years experience designing UI/UX for mobile games or apps
- Proficiency in Figma (design systems, prototyping, developer handoff) and Illustrator
- Experience integrating UI into Unity (or collaborating closely with Unity developers)
- Strong visual design skills – typography, layout, colour theory, iconography
- Solid understanding of UX principles: clarity, hierarchy, onboarding, accessibility
- Able to think like a player – designing for readability, ease of use, and delight
- Collaborative communicator, open to feedback and iteration
Preferred
- Experience designing for younger audiences or educational games
- Familiarity with UX for social-first or multiplayer experiences
- Motion design or UI animation skills (e.g. After Effects, Unity animation)
- Experience building or contributing to design systems
- Arabic language skills or cultural fluency in the GCC/MENA region
- Knowledge of localization/internationalization best practices
- Basic Unity UI implementation (Canvas, TextMeshPro, prefabs, etc.)
Benefits
- Competitive salary
- A bold creative studio with global ambition and cultural depth
- Remote flexibility and diverse international team
- Chance to build culturally resonant, globally loved games
- Opportunities for leadership, mentorship, and personal growth
